SIYUAN has set up a special company for engineering supervision, which is a Standing Council unit for National Association of Construction Supervision, Railway Ministry Association of Construction Supervision, and Hubei Provincial Association of Construction Supervision, and has gained the Quality, Environment, Occupational Health and Safety Management System Certifications. It owns various qualification certificates such as Railway Engineering Supervision Class A Qualification Certificate, Municipal and Public Works (including metro and light rail)Supervision Class A Qualification Certificate, Building Architecture Engineering Supervision Class A Qualification Certificate, and Highway Engineering Supervision Class A Qualification Certificate by the Ministry of Housing and Urban –Rural Development; the Highway Engineering Supervision Class A Qualification Certificate, Particular Independent Tunnel Special Qualification Certificate, and Particular Independent Bridge Special Qualification Certificate by the Ministry of Communications; and the Test Inspection Qualification Certificate by both the Ministry of Railways and the Ministry of Communications. It has more than 1,300 engineering technical personnel who has been engaged in the design, supervision and management of railway engineering, urban rail transit engineering, and building architecture engineering, including “China Engineering Supervision Masters”, professor level senior engineers, senior engineers, certified supervision engineers by the Ministry of Construction, certified supervision engineers by the Ministry of Railways, and certified supervision engineers by the Ministry of Communications. It has been continuously honored with the title of “Excellent Supervision Unit” by the Ministry of Construction, the Ministry of Railways, the Ministry of Communication, and the Hubei Provincial government. It’s acknowledged as “Engineering Supervision Advance Unit for the 60th anniversary of China Construction Supervision Innovation Development” by China National Association of Construction Supervision.
Over the years, by the principle of “contract-honoring, strict supervision, scientific management, continuous improvement, and customer satisfaction”, and the enterprise spirit of “harmony, high efficiency, innovation and win-win”, SIYUAN has undertaken the construction supervision works for railway engineering, building architecture engineering, municipal and public works (including metro and light rail) of Class A qualifications, as well as technical consultation and technical services for engineering construction projects, including over 100 engineering construction supervision projects such as Beijing-Shanghai High Speed Railway, Beijing-Tianjin Intercity Railway, Xiamen Xiang’an Undersea Tunnel, Wuhan Yingwuzhou Yangtze River Bridge, and other major works. Among them, 80% are national level key projects, with its markets covering most of the provinces and autonomous regions across the country.
By virtue of its supervision projects, SIYUAN has won many state level awards, including 6 “China Construction Engineering Luban Award”, 9 “China Civil Engineering Zhantianyou Award”, and “Locomotive Quality Engineering First Award”.
Beijing-Tianjin Intercity Rail Transit project has won the 10th Civil Engineering Zhantianyou Award and the 2010~2011 China Construction Engineering Luban Award; Hefei- Wuhan Railway has won 10th Civil Engineering Zhantianyou Award;
Nanjing-Huaian Highway has won the 10th Civil Engineering Zhantianyou Award and the First Prize of 2009 Highway Transportation Quality Project Award; the Baziling Tunnel at Section Yichang-Enshi of the Shanghai-Chengdu National Trunk Road has won the 2010~2011 China Construction Engineering Luban Award.
The Gulou-Xuanwumen Tunnel of Nanjing Metro South-North Line Phase I project has won the 6th Civil Engineering Zhantianyou Award; Shenzhen Luohu Metro Terminal has won the 7th Civil Engineering Zhantianyou Award;
Xiamen Xiang’an Highway Undersea Tunnel (the undersea tunnel is 6050m long, the first large section undersea tunnel in mainland China, one of the three model projects by the Ministry of Communications) and Wuhan-Hefei Dabieshan Mountain Tunnel have won the 2010~2011 China Construction Engineering Luban Award; The Shiziyang Undersea Tunnel of Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Hongkong Rail Link (10.8km long, the first underwater ultra-long shied tunnel for high speed railway in China) and the Shilin Tunnel of Kunming-Lanning Railway (full length of 18,218m, the longest single-hole double-track railway tunnel and the longest karst tunnel in China).
Suzhou-Nantong Bridge, a stayed bridge with the largest span in the world, has won the International Bridge Conference – George Richardson Award, the First Award of Progress in Science and Technology of Jiangsu Province, and the 2010 Awards by the American Society of Civil Engineers.
The Wuhan Junshan Yangtze River Bridge of Beijing-Zhuhai Highway has won the Silver Award of National Quality Engineering, and the 4th Civil Engineering Zhantianyou Award;
Yichang Yiling Yangtze River Bridge has won the 2002 “Luban Award” and the 4th Civil Engineering Zhantianyou Award;
Yichang Yangtze River Bridge of Yichang-Wanzhou Railway (the largest continuous rigid frame flexible arch railway in China, with the main span of 275m ;)
Wuhan Erqi Yangtze River Bridge (a three-tower stayed bridge with the largest span in the world, and a composite beam- cable stayed bridge with the largest span in the world);
Wuhan Yingwuzhou Yangtze River Bridge (the first three-tower four-span suspension bridge with the largest span across the world )
Anqing Yangtze River Bridge of Nanjing-Anqing Intercity Railway (six-span continuous steel truss girder cable stayed bridge, with main span of 580m, the largest span of its kind in China)
Longtanhe River Bridge of Shanghai-Sichuan Highway (main pier of 178m high, the highest pier for continuous rigid bridge all over the world).
